2. Not a Transportation Service

IMPORTANT NOTICE: TaxiBuddy is NOT a taxi service, ride-hailing platform, transportation broker, or transportation provider. We are a personal contact management application that helps users organize their taxi driver contact information.

We do NOT:

  • Provide, arrange, facilitate, or broker transportation services
  • Employ, contract with, supervise, or control taxi drivers
  • Verify the credentials, licenses, insurance, or qualifications of taxi drivers
  • Guarantee the availability, quality, safety, or reliability of any taxi driver
  • Act as an agent or representative of any taxi driver or user
  • Assume any responsibility for the conduct of taxi drivers or users

We ARE: A tool that allows you to save, organize, and manage your personal list of taxi driver contacts, similar to a digital address book specifically designed for taxi contacts.

3. User-Generated Content

TaxiBuddy allows users to rate and review taxi drivers based on their personal experiences. All ratings, reviews, and trust statistics displayed on our Service are:

  • User-Generated: Created and submitted by individual users
  • Subjective: Based on personal opinions and individual experiences
  • Unverified: We do not independently verify the accuracy of user submissions
  • Aggregated: Trust statistics are calculated from user-submitted data

We do not endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any user-generated content. Users should exercise their own judgment and discretion when relying on ratings and reviews.

4. No Liability for Taxi Services

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL TAXIBUDDY BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Any accidents, injuries, damages, or losses arising from taxi rides or interactions with taxi drivers
  • The conduct, actions, or omissions of any taxi driver you contact through our Service
  • The quality, safety, timeliness, or legality of transportation services provided by taxi drivers
  • Any disputes, conflicts, or issues between users and taxi drivers
  • Lost or stolen property during taxi rides
  • Overcharging, fraud, or other misconduct by taxi drivers
  • Vehicle accidents, mechanical failures, or traffic violations

YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT: Any interactions with taxi drivers, including arranging rides, negotiating fares, and traveling in their vehicles, are entirely at your own risk. We strongly recommend that you verify the credentials, licenses, and insurance of any taxi driver before using their services.

5. Accuracy of Information

While we strive to keep the information on our Service accurate and up-to-date, we make no guarantees about:

  • The current availability or contact information of taxi drivers
  • The accuracy of aggregated trust statistics and ratings
  • The completeness or timeliness of user-submitted data
  • The functionality or availability of the Service at all times

Contact information for taxi drivers may become outdated, and drivers may change phone numbers or cease operations without notice. We are not responsible for maintaining or updating this information.
